The Matte Pen: Changes the light rays on the skin by trapping them through subsurface scattering to provide a matte effect. The Matte Pen allows for focused application, which can be very helpful in achieving subtle sculpting effects or covering blemishes. The Gloss Pen: Creates a glossy, yet transparent finish to the skin. Light is significantly reflected from the application, and this pen also can enhance color depth when applied over or under a color makeup product layer.
