We showed the award-winning film Lacrimosa, written, directed and produced by profoundly deaf filmmaker Austin Chapman. The 80-minute movie featuring subtitles is a semi-autobiographical story about Justin, a young deaf man navigating life in a hearing world. Part 2 of this show is the CONVERSATION between Austin and acclaimed movie critic and writer Scott Mantz, where they discussed the challenges and joys of Austin working as a deaf filmmaker and actor in a predominantly hearing industry.
