You can fill it with foaming hand soap, or if you prefer, make your own solution using the handy water/soap measurement markings. It is important to add the water first when making your own solution. To clean the Foaming Soap Pump, rinse with water and clean with mild soap. Soap sold separately. Do not place in dishwasher. Pump capacity is a generous 12oz. so you won't have to fill it often.
